Team Tiiga
Katy, Jeff & Harrouna met while pursuing degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
It all started, when Harrouna shared a baobab-based beverage from Burkina Faso, in western Africa with Jeff & Katy.
The Journey
It's about sharing a piece of Harrouna's culture, the Baobab fruit, with the world. This incredible fruit, has been a part of his life since childhood, and now we're bringing to the rest of the world.

The harvesting of most ingredients generates a negative impact on the environment and communities that produce it.
However, Baobab trees grow wild, improve the environmental diversity of the regions and provide income opportunities for rural African communities.
We work with Baobab Cooperatives throughout Africa to obtain responsibly harvested Baobab. This represents an increase of 40% in household income to harvesters - 85% of which are women. When you choose Tiiga, you're supporting a network of hardworking harvesters, most of whom are women, contributing significantly to their families' well-being and environmental sustainability.
