Fiber-rich comfort food
- 2 apples, sliced
- 1 tbsp Baobab Boost
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ⅓ cup oats
- 1tbsp almond flour
- 1 tbsp coconut oil or butter
- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a small baking dish.
Wash and thinly slice the apples (peeling is optional).
Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of Baobab Boost and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon over the apples. Toss gently to coat. Place the apple slices evenly in your prepared baking dish.
In a small bowl, mix together the oats, almond flour, honey or maple syrup and melted coconut oil or butter until crumbly and well combined.
Sprinkle the oat mixture evenly over the apples, gently pressing it down to form a crisp topping.
Bake at 375°F for 25 minutes, or until the topping is golden and the apples are tender.
Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm on its own or with a dollop of yogurt or a splash of milk.
